Li Haiyan, female, born in 1987, known as Mingyue of Dianzhong, like a lotus emerging from clear water, is from Kunming, Yunnan. She has been studying painting and calligraphy since childhood and later furthered her studies in Beijing. She studied under Wang Jinyuan and Wu Bai from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and received guidance from multiple renowned artists such as Meng Qi from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. She is passionate about writing the Heart Sutra and painting Buddha images, as well as creating landscapes, flowers, and birds, earning widespread acclaim from collectors both domestically and abroad! Her works have been exhibited and awarded in numerous national painting and calligraphy exhibitions, such as winning and being selected for the 2019 Colorful Hainan National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, and the 2020 China-Hong Kong National Painting and Calligraphy Competition, among others. With a Buddha-like heart and countenance, her future is promising.
