Tan Hongjun

    Tan Hongjun, a native of Kunming, Yunnan, styled as the Master of Baoxiang Studio and Guotang Studio, is a member of Yunnan Provincial Calligraphers Association, Kunming Calligraphers Association, and Kunming Artists Association. He excels in various styles of calligraphy, and his traditional Chinese paintings are particularly renowned for landscapes, plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo, and chrysanthemums. His calligraphic works follow ancient traditions with restrained yet expressive strokes, rich variation in dots and lines, and profound, steady brushwork. His paintings convey traditional concepts with naturalness and freedom, featuring harmonious ink washes and bold, fluent brush techniques.
