Personal Profile
Zhang Zhenghai, styled Ruoshui, also styled Ruoyu, known as Ximo Ren.Born in 1992 in Wenshan, Yunnan, he began studying calligraphy at the age of twelve and has continued for over a decade. Throughout these years, he has consistently adhered to traditional calligraphic styles, diligently copying ancient models. He has practiced classics of all five script styles—regular script, running script, cursive script, clerical script, and seal script—with particular proficiency in regular and running scripts, especially the style of Ouyang Xun. Additionally, he has compiled multiple sets of brush and hard-pen calligraphy textbooks. His works have consistently earned high honors in various calligraphy competitions and are collected by many peers and friends.
