Feng Peilun

Personal Profile

Feng Peilun is a military calligrapher who graduated from the Kunming Army Academy. During his military service, he studied calligraphy under Master Wen Yuming and won the Kunming Military Region Calligraphy Award. After transferring to Beijing, he studied calligraphy under Master Aisin Gioro Jin Jichun and seal script under General Zhao Yongliang of the People's Liberation Army. He was honored by the Ministry of Culture as the foremost contemporary seal script military calligrapher and is a member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association. His works have been collected by multiple institutions. He serves as Vice President of the Beijing Dayouqianjing Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a council member of the China Huaxia Wanlixing Calligraphers and Painters Association, and Executive President of Guoqu Calligraphy and Painting Academy. During the pandemic, he donated his artworks to support the fight against the epidemic.
