Personal Profile

Chen Zhongkai, born in 1990, is from Qinglong Street, Banqiao Ancient Town, Baoshan, Yunnan, known as Qinglong Jushi, and online as "Zhuanketian Shifu". He has been passionate about art since childhood, beginning calligraphy practice at age 8, specializing in fine arts and seal carving at age 16, and has been engaged in fine arts education since graduating from university at age 21. He has won first prizes in provincial youth calligraphy and painting competitions. He is featured in the Encyclopedia of Painters and Calligraphers and has been honored with the title of Outstanding Artist. "Art originates from life, and life itself is art—I love life!"
