Deng Xingzao, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1985, pen name: Zao Deng Yi Ren, from Qiaojia County, Zhaotong, Yunnan. National First-Class Artist, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, artist, standing committee member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Federation, member of the China National Arts and Crafts Artists Association, National First-Class Arts and Crafts Artist, member of the Yunnan Nan She Research Society. Academician of Die Zhi Meng Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of Oriental Art Universe. He has a deep love for Chinese calligraphy and painting art. Due to his family's difficult financial conditions and the rural farming mindset, he drifted into society at a very young age and endured great hardships! He once thought his life would continue this way, until he accidentally met Mr. Shen Quanyong, a renowned Chinese calligrapher and painter, National First-Class Artist, and standing committee member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Federation. Witnessing Mr. Shen’s artworks and his unwavering dedication to art profoundly shocked him, allowing him to truly comprehend the profound depth and richness of Chinese calligraphy and painting. He made a silent vow to begin self-studying calligraphy and painting, working during the day and practicing art at night, only to realize that learning Chinese painting is by no means an easy task. The invisible pressures along the artistic path often left him gasping for breath, and this continued for an entire year. Through his sincere persistence, Mr. Shen eventually began guiding him in the knowledge and techniques of calligraphy and painting. After countless earnest requests and repeated inquiries, he was finally accepted as a disciple. Before formally admitting him, Mr. Shen told Deng Xingzao: "The path of art is fraught with hardships and solitude, like a pilgrim monk. Once you choose it, do not give up; once you give up, do not look back. It is not something achievable in a day or two." From that moment on, he made a firmer resolve to pursue his painting dream, vowing never to abandon it even if he bled and suffered on the artistic journey. Consequently, he quit his job and devoted himself entirely to studying calligraphy and painting. He formally learned traditional Chinese painting techniques under systematic instruction and training. Under the focused cultivation and guidance of Master Shen Quanyong, he was further recommended to study under several renowned calligraphers and painters, including Mr. Shen Tianchi, a specially invited national gift artist of Zhongnanhai Ziguang Pavilion and Dean of the Hebei University Calligraphy and Painting Academy, as well as numerous other distinguished calligraphers and painters. Gradually, he developed his own unique style. His calligraphy and painting works have been selected multiple times for exhibitions and related events both within and outside the province.
