Personal Profile

Wu Yino, originally named Wu Tao, is a renowned Chinese realist painter and a disciple of Li Keran’s lineage. Born in 1984 in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, he began painting at an early age and graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2006. In 2007, he furthered his studies in the Advanced Research Class of Chinese Painting at Tsinghua University, later receiving guidance from masters such as Long Rui, Cheng Dali, Cui Xiaodong, and Wang Hui. He specializes in landscape painting and also excels in meticulous-style bird-and-flower painting. His works have been collected by the China Art Museum, Yunnan Art Museum, Yunnan Television, local government institutions, and collectors in Australia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, India, Africa, and other countries. Currently: Member of the Yunnan Branch, China Artists Association Member of the Yunnan Calligraphers Association National First-Class Artist Council Member, China Youth Artists Association Member, China Gongbi Painting Society Member, China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association Honorary Vice President, Ancient Dian Kingdom Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Yunnan Major Exhibitions: 2008: Participated in the "Great Beauty Kunming" Art Exhibition and received a Bronze Award. 2010: Invited to participate in the "Yunnan Ten Outstanding Young Artists" Art Exhibition. 2015: Chinese painting "Impressions of Other Mountains" was selected for the 2015 (Ancient Shu Cultural Heritage, Ink Charm of Tianfu) exhibition (organized by the China Artists Association). 2016: Chinese painting "Horizon" was selected for the Renbaozhai Chinese Painting Biennale. 2017: Held a solo exhibition "Future Dream" in Australia. 2018: Participated in the China Art Festival "Invitation Exhibition of Academic Works by the China Society of Chinese Painting."
