Ms. Nan Xi, a calligrapher of the Bao'an ethnic group and a member of the Xinjiang Calligraphy Association, began studying calligraphy at the age of 11. She has extensively studied numerous calligraphic models and is proficient in running-cursive script, with particular excellence in large-character (bangti) calligraphy, earning her the title "Empress of Large-Character Calligraphy in Western China." Her works are powerful, vigorous, and grand in style.
