      Li Xiaogang, born in November 1960, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Xinjiang Normal University in 1988. He is currently a full-time fine arts instructor at Changji University and the head of the Jinghao Painting and Calligraphy Society at Changji University. During his studies, he was deeply influenced and taught by the late watercolor master Professor Yu Ran. Since engaging in watercolor teaching and professional creation, his works have been exhibited multiple times at the regional level and in other provinces and cities. In 2008, his work "Stream" was exhibited in the Xinjiang Exhibition Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up; in 1999, his work "Noon" was exhibited in the Xinjiang Art Exhibition Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC; in 2010, his work "Summer Wind of Tianshan" was exhibited in the Xinjiang Art Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC. His works have been published multiple times in journals such as "Xinjiang Youth" and "Contemporary Communication." The work "Noon" was included in the anthology "Selected Works of Contemporary Watercolor and Gouache Art in Xinjiang," and the work "Sunlight at Noon" was included in the anthology "Xinjiang Contemporary Watercolor Sketches." The work "Winter on the Ma River" has been exhibited in touring shows in Changji, Shihezi, and Manas County. He is a member of the Xinjiang Artists Association, the Watercolor Art Committee, and the Chinese Association of Art Education.
