Yang Yuzhu, male, born in 1953, from Shanxi Changzhi, holds a college diploma. He is a member of the Shanxi Writers Association, a member of the Changzhi Municipal Writers Association, a specially appointed senior calligrapher and painter of China Hundred Cultural Network, a member of the China International Calligraphers Association, and a academician of the Beijing Renhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He has published the literary work "Collected Poems and Writings of Yang Yuzhu." His calligraphy is primarily known for regular script, inheriting the structural strength of Yan Ti style, with robust and substantial characters and steady brushwork, widely acclaimed. His recent calligraphy works have won the Excellent Work Award in the Second National Online Calligraphy Competition; the Gold Award in the "Eastern Beauty" National Poetry, Couplet, and Calligraphy-Painting Competition; the First Prize in the Third "Peace Song · Chinese Sentiment" National Invitational Exhibition of Fine Arts and Calligraphy; the Silver Award in the First "Damo Cup" National Online Calligraphy Competition; the Second Prize in the Fifth "Ode to the Great Leader · Chinese Dream" Contemporary Poetry, Prose, and Calligraphy-Painting Competition; and the Outstanding Award in the First "Golden Forest Cup" National Calligraphy Competition.
