Huang Danyan's Resume: Born in 1949 in Tanli Village, Dongshan Town, Xiuying District, Haikou City, Hainan Province. Joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 1967 and was discharged in 1971. Served successively as Manager of Qiongshan Bookstore, Director of Qiongshan Youth Palace, Director of the Supervision Office of the Office of the Qiongshan County, City, and District Committees, and a Member of the Fifth and Sixth Committees of the Qiongshan County and City. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association in Guangdong and Hainan. Enrolled in 1986 at the China Calligraphy and Painting University (President Zhang Chao, professors including Qi Gong and Ouyang Zhongshi), graduated in 1989; Council Member of the Hong Kong International Calligraphers and Painters Association, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hainan Artists Promotion Association, Vice Chairman and Deputy Secretary-General of the Hainan Jiangxia Cultural Origins Research Association. In the 1980s, her works were included in "One Thousand Contemporary Youth Calligraphers and Painters," published by Guizhou People's Publishing House; Huang Danyan was listed in the "Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters." Recently, her works have been repeatedly selected for participation in various exhibitions and have won awards; this year, four of her works were published in the series "Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters" by the Hong Kong International Association of Calligraphers and Painters. Awarded 8th Place, Second Prize in the 2020 Guocui Jiuzhou "Fang Cuican Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition.
