Sun Changyin

Canadian renowned painter, originally from Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. In the past two decades, he has created a large number of oil paintings and portraits, which have been collected by various art galleries, museums, and private collectors. In 2008, the Wenzhou Municipal Government and the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese established the "Sun Changyin Fine Arts Award" foundation to reward future learners in recognition of his support and achievements for his hometown. Sun Changyin is currently the Vice Chairman of the Canada-China Fine Arts Association, the Dean of the Contemporary Art Academy of Canada, the Honorary Dean of the Toronto Fine Arts Academy, and a standing director of the Art Creation Research Association of Tsinghua University, as well as a professional painter. He was invited to participate in the Salon de la Grande Champs d'exposition in France for two consecutive sessions and won the Gold Medal for Oil Painting at the 2017 French Art Salon.
