 Chen Yuping, pen name Mo Xuan. Born in 1977, a native of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Since childhood, he has advocated reading more literary works and frequently practicing calligraphy, finding great joy in it. He studied calligraphy from ancient masters, pursuing in his creations a fresh and elegant aesthetic with graceful charm; a transcendent, carefree spirit; yet never losing the ancient, dignified, and grandiose momentum. He strives to ensure that each of his calligraphic and painting works is clearly legible, meaningful, and beneficial to viewers—harmonizing with society and enriching life’s values.
       Most of his calligraphy and painting works are signed with the phrase “Peace is Blessing.” His works have been honored with multiple awards: First Prize in the “ICBC National Clerical Script Competition,” Excellence Award in the “7th China Calligraphy and Painting Competition,” recognized as a Master of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting in the exhibition “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Moving Forward—Celebrating the 19th CPC National Congress,” named a Renowned Chinese Artist in “Chinese Art on World Stamps,” and acclaimed as a Leading Figure in Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Art in the “Setting Sail in the New Era” Calligraphy and Painting Evaluation commemorating the 40th Anniversary of China’s Reform and Opening-up.
