Personal Profile

Liang Fangqiu, male, Han ethnicity, born in November 1955. Retired university teacher. Member of Hangzhou Calligraphers Association. Has practiced calligraphy continuously for 48 years since age 14 (including four years working in rural areas during the "Down to the Countryside" movement). Primarily practices regular script, running script, and cursive script, mastering all three comprehensively. His works are characterized by powerful brushwork, accurate cursive script techniques, natural artistic expression, and seamless execution. Has posted over 2,000 calligraphy photos on Sina Weibo. Personal interests: seal carving, mounting, martial arts, flute and xiao playing, military affairs, fishing. Member of Martial Arts Association. Electronics technology is his professional field, with strong hands-on ability.
