Mr. Zhang Quankai was born in April 1962, Han ethnicity, native of Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang. He holds a postgraduate degree and is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, Director of the China Art Association, member of the Chinese Huaxia Wanlihang Calligraphers and Painters Association, National First-Class Artist, "Glory of Great Nation" — State Gift Designated Artist, journalist for Encyclopedia of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, and a Christian pastor in China. Vice President of the Beijing Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Academy; founded the Ningbo Cixi Golden Lampstand Calligraphy and Painting Academy in 2016 and the Ningbo Cixi Ganlin Cultural Media Co., Ltd. in 2017. He has been awarded the Global Top 100 Artists in 2016, Gold Prize in the 3rd China Calligraphy and Painting Competition, Silver Prize in the New York, USA Calligraphy and Painting Competition, Silver Prize in the 6th China International Calligraphy and Painting Competition, Top 100 Chinese Brand Artists, Gold Prize in the 2018 "Golden Ding Art Award" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and Gold Prize in the 2019 "Hundred Flowers Greet Spring" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.Gold Prize in the 2nd Lanting Art Award National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2019.
