Personal Profile

Zhang Yitian, styled Longxi Jushi, with the courtesy name Zhang Dan, holds a college degree and is a native of Pujiang County, Zhejiang.

Currently holds the positions of:
Research Fellow at the Chinese Calligraphy Art Research Institute;
Member of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association;
President of Jiangnan Academy.

Has been passionately devoted to the art of calligraphy since childhood, practicing diligently for over forty years. Studied under renowned calligraphers including Lv Xiaolian, Wu Changcheng, and Li Song—mentor of the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design Calligraphy Training Program and professor at the Chinese Calligraphers Association Training Center. Further advanced studies at the Advanced Calligraphy Research Class of Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design.

In 2009, his calligraphy works were collected by the Shanghai Railway Museum and were previously reported by television stations in Anhui and Zhejiang.
