Zhang Zixuan

  Zhang Zixuan, born in 1972 in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province, is a professional painter specializing in landscape painting. He serves as Vice President of the Chang'an Calligraphy Academy, a painter at the Shaanxi Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, a painter at the Northwest Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, and Vice Chairman of the Hancheng City Painting and Calligraphy Artists Association.

      Since childhood, he has been passionate about painting. At the age of 14, he studied Gongbi landscape and flower-and-bird painting under Shang Huiqing, a disciple of the renowned Sichuan artist Zhao Wanbi. In 1996, he entered the Chinese Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, focusing on Chinese landscape painting under the tutelage of Master Fan Hua. In 2012, he received an Outstanding Award in the Third National Changzheng Cup Painting and Calligraphy Competition in Shaanxi. In 2014, he studied Qinling landscape painting under Master Xu Yisheng of Shaanxi Normal University. In 2016, he became a disciple of Master Zhang Xinsheng in Chang'an, dedicating himself to the study of calligraphy.
