Zhang Yinchao, master of Baishanzhai, pen name: Chao Ren. Born in October 1964 in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province, the hometown of Sima Qian. He has shown a strong artistic talent and exceptional insight since childhood. In 1986, he joined an ancient architectural sketching team and conducted field sketches at sites such as Xingqing Palace, Taiyi Palace, Cuihua Mountain, and Xingjiao Temple in Xi'an. For decades, he has persistently practiced fundamental skills for 2 to 4 hours daily, seeking no fame or fortune, but only true mastery. Member of the Hancheng Branch of the Shaanxi Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Association; Won the Second Prize in the 4th National Online Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition in 2018; His work was collected in the 6th National Workers' Calligraphy and Painting Competition; In 2019, he was selected and recommended by major national media and experts as a Master of Chinese National Gift Art and a Distinguished Chinese Artist; In 2020, he earned the prestigious title of National First-Class Calligrapher through online evaluation, and also received the Third Prize in the Grand Chinese Splendor Calligraphy and Painting Competition that same year.
