Dang Wenjun, styled Junyi, Master of Qiufeng Hall, was born in January 1965 in Shaanxi Province, Pucheng County, holding a postgraduate degree while employed. He is a National First-Class Artist. Member of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, Henan Province Member of the Calligraphers Association and Artists Association, Committee Member of the Henan Provincial Procuratorate Literary and Art Federation, Director and President of the Calligraphy and Painting Association of Luoyang Procuratorate Literary and Art Federation, and Full-time Calligrapher and Painter of the Northern Xiangshan Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about calligraphy and painting art. Influenced by more than twenty years of military cultural atmosphere, he has consistently pursued the study of traditional Chinese ink painting as a personal interest and aspiration. He specializes in the creation and research of flower-and-bird ink paintings, developing a unique artistic style. His ink bamboo and grape series are considered unparalleled, earning him the title of "King of Grapes in Central China." His work "Fruits Fragrant, Peace and Auspiciousness" has been permanently collected by the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. He has won first, second, and excellence awards in nationwide competitions such as the "Changtong Cup" during the 55th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC and military art exhibitions. His works have been published and reprinted by numerous national journals and online media, and are highly favored and collected by art enthusiasts.
