Zhao Tiancheng, male, ancestral home in Shaanxi's Chenggu. Studio names: Tianhe Studio, Pingshi Studio. His calligraphy pursues an ancient, elegant, and vigorous spirit, aiming for broad appeal among both connoisseurs and the general public. He has won numerous awards in calligraphy, poetry, and couplets, and his works have been included in multiple collections and reference dictionaries, including the Calligraphy Collection of Sites in Zhongnanhai. His couplets and calligraphy have been carved and displayed at numerous scenic sites both within and outside Shaanxi, such as the Taoist sacred site Louguantai, the Buddhist temple Famen Temple, Xi'an Drum Tower, and Xi'an City Gates. He has also been selected for multiple stamp commemorative collections, including those marking the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. He has been repeatedly invited to serve as a judge in poetry and couplet competitions.
He has published a collection of self-composed and self-written couplets titled "Hanmo Tiancheng." He successfully organized the Huanglou Eight Friends Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and the "Tianli Moyu" Couple's Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. Shaanxi Television and Xi'an Television have featured him in special programs on artists and their works. He currently serves as Vice President and Secretary-General of the Huanglou Calligraphy and Painting Society of Shaanxi Provincial Government, Secretary-General and Party Branch Secretary of the Shaanxi Shangshan Ink-and-Wash Painting Academy, Vice President of the Shaanxi Couplets Society, Research Fellow at the Institute of Cultural Industry, Northwest University, and Member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, among other positions. He has been teaching calligraphy at institutions such as the Songyuan Branch of Xi'an Senior University for over twenty years.
