Personal Profile
Han Fuxing, from Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is known by the art names Changshou Mountain Man, Taiping Recluse, and Master of Shuxiang Studio. He holds a college diploma, is a National First-Class Calligrapher, a member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, a member of the Baoji City Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the Calligraphy Art Research Institute of China National Academy of Painting and Vice President of its Baoji Branch, and has been authorized by the China National Academy of Painting to establish the "Han Fuxing Calligraphy Art Studio."      Born in 1963 into a scholarly family, he developed a deep passion for calligraphy from childhood, nurtured by an environment steeped in ink and brush. He persistently practiced classical models, never ceasing to study at his desk. Primarily focusing on regular script, he also explored running and cursive scripts. Later, he studied under Master Ren Buwu, specializing in Ouyang Xun's regular script, repeatedly practicing and researching the "Jiuchenggong Liquan Ming" inscription, gradually gaining profound insight. He greatly admires the elegance of its characters, balanced and orderly composition, flexible yet standardized structure, delicate and fluid strokes, and the rigorous yet graceful aesthetic. After years of refinement, he integrated the strength of Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan, gradually developing his own distinctive style. He excels in large-scale regular script banner calligraphy and has participated in numerous exhibitions, winning multiple awards.
The sea of learning is boundless; artistic pursuit knows no limits. I am currently in the prime of life and remain steadfast in my ambition to ascend the pinnacle of art. Through reading and writing, I strive to cultivate virtue and character, continuously exploring ways to capture the spirit and essence of Chinese characters, dedicating my humble efforts to promoting traditional Chinese culture and the art of calligraphy.
