Qi Xianzhou, pen name (Ming Ren), was born in 1959 in Huazhou, Shaanxi, into a scholarly family. He has been immersed in the art of calligraphy since childhood, and for forty years has diligently studied and practiced the styles of the four great masters: Yan, Zhao, Ouyang, and Liu. He studied under the renowned calligrapher Mr. Wu Yukun and received direct guidance from the famous calligrapher Mr. Qu Yulin.

In 1986, he won the first prize in the Weinan District Harvest Cup Calligraphy Competition and the second prize in the Taiwan Strait Cross-Strait Calligraphy Competition. His works were selected for the Third National Calligraphy Exhibition, the First Wang Xizhi National Calligraphy Exhibition, and the Beilan Ting Xu National Calligraphy Exhibition. The value of his works continues to rise,and they are widely collected by calligraphy enthusiasts both domestically and internationally!
