Liu Ming, male, born in 1960, from Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is a National First-Class Artist, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association for Bangshu, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Honorary President of the China Yan Zhenqing Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Academician of the Shaanxi Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and member of the Baoji City Calligraphers Association. He is a contracted artist with Beijing Fushengxuan and Moyuanzhai Cultural Media Company. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about calligraphy and has studied it for over forty years. His calligraphic work of the character "Jie" is collected by the纪念馆 of the Seven Battles and Seven Victories in Suzhong. He won the Gold Award in the National Calligraphy and Painting and Paper-Cutting Competition commemorating the 1220th anniversary of Yan Zhenqing’s death, and also won the Gold Award in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition on Tang Poetry, Song Ci, and Yuan Qu. From 2013 to the present, his works have been annually produced by China Post into telephone cards, stamps, and postcards for nationwide distribution. His works have been included in the "Contemporary Huaxia Art Masters Collection." He has been awarded honors such as "Artist of Virtue and Artistry" and "Famous Calligrapher and Painter of the 21st Century."
