   Chen Weiping, style name Guangren, also known as Yintan Zhai Zhu, is a famous calligrapher from Shanghai, and a member of the Xiling Seal Art Society. He was born in Dalian City in 1955, and entered the Shanghai Xiling Seal Art Society in 1995 to engage in the research and development of Chinese painting, calligraphy, and ink. He studied seal carving, clerical script, and stone drum characters under the guidance of Shanghai's renowned artists Zhang Sen, Wang Geyi, and Huang Mairan. He also received guidance from the calligraphers and seal carvers Li Wenjun and Wu Tianxiang of the Xiling Seal Art Society. His calligraphy works participated in the Shanghai New Artists' New Works Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in 2001. In 2009, he participated in the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of the China Planning Association and won the gold award. In 2012, his seal script work "Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits" was included in the Chinese General Calligraphy and Painting Collection. In 2013, his works were selected for the Third Shanghai Calligraphy and Clerical Script Exhibition. In November 2018, he participated in the "Four Masters of the Sea" Calligraphy and Painting Joint Exhibition held by the Ancient Culture Museum of Anhui Province. In May 2019, he was awarded the title of "First-Class Calligrapher" by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China (Certificate Number: YJSF01000530G).
