Ma Xuezhi: Zi Xuezhi, male, Hui ethnicity, from Yinchuan, Ningxia, born in February 1946. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and later studied under Liu Zhengqian. He studied regular script in the Tang dynasty style, clerical script based on the "Shichen Stele," and primarily focused on running-cursive script inspired by the "Two Wangs," drawing strength from the Song dynasty masters Su, Huang, and Mi. He also explored the styles of Ming and Qing dynasties such as Zhu Yunming, Wang Duo, Liu Yong, and He Shaoji. His works feature bold, refined, steady, and fluid brushwork. His pieces have been selected for the Second and Third National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibitions, the "Henan International Calligraphy Exhibition," and the "National Hui Ethnic Region Calligraphy Exhibition," among others. His works are collected by the Zhejiang Library, Yantai Museum, and numerous scenic spots, inscribed on stone, published in various professional publications, or included in collections such as "Collection of Couplets in Calligraphy." He served as a member of the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Committees of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, received the title of "Distinguished Artist-Member" from the China Calligraphers Association in 2002, and is currently a council member of the China Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of the Ningxia Autonomous Region Calligraphers Association, and a researcher at the Ningxia Academy of History and Culture.
