 Wang Fabin is from Hohhot. He is a member of the Chinese Society of Poetry, the Chinese Poetry Society, the Chinese Prose Society, the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and the Inner Mongolia Writers Association. He was a student in the first and second Inner Mongolia Calligraphy Research Classes organized by the China Calligraphers Association, and a student in the fifth Literature Research Class at Inner Mongolia University. He began literary creation and practicing calligraphy and seal carving in 1980 and continues to this day. His calligraphy adheres to tradition while integrating various styles, and he is particularly skilled in cursive script. His poetry primarily consists of free verse, classical poetry, prose, and prose poetry.
       His works have appeared in publications such as the Inner Mongolia Daily, the People's Daily, the PLA Daily, the PLA Literature and Art, the Literary Gazette, Poetry Journal, Prose Poetry, Selected Prose Poetry, Poetry Forest, Stars, Grassland, Divine Sword, Cultural and Artistic Daily, Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Daily, Yili Daily, Yili Evening News, Contemporary Fiction (Second Half), Selected Contemporary Literature, Chinese Poets, and Poetry Exploration. He has received awards including入围奖, Outstanding Award, Third Prize, Second Prize, and First Prize from publications such as the Inner Mongolia Daily, the People's Daily, Poetry Journal, People's Literature, and Selected Prose Poetry.
       His calligraphy works have won gold, silver, and first prizes in national competitions. They have been collected by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Civil Air Defense Office, the Hunan Branch Art Research Institute of China News Service, and the Ruozhou China Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In 2012, he was awarded the title of "Most Influential International Chinese Art Master" by the International Federation of Art (Culture). In 2018, during cross-strait cultural exchanges, his calligraphy work "The Capacity to Embrace All" was collected by the Yu Bailing Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Taiwan. He has published poetry collections titled The Warrior's Heart Is Burning and The Blue Kukuhotun. He currently resides in Beijing.
