Yang Xiaoyu: Real name, Gong Chenxia; Studio name, Xiaoyu Studio. A renowned young calligrapher and painter of the post-80s generation, originally from Hunan, China. Senior Calligrapher and Senior Art Master of the China National Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Member of the Hunan Artists Association, Member of the Hunan Provincial Direct Art Academy, Research Fellow of the Qi Baishi Research Institute, Member of the Changsha Calligraphers Association, Member of the Changsha Artists Association, Member of the Changsha County Artists Association, Council Member of the ASEAN Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Art, and Academician of the China Buddhist Culture Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. Special-appointed painting and calligraphy instructor at the Di Zi Gui Academy and the芙兰德 Art Academy.
Has been learning calligraphy and painting since childhood. Her works are widely circulated in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and major cities across mainland China. Her artworks have been exhibited multiple times in major cities and she is regarded as a highly promising contemporary young artist.
Has been featured successively by Hunan Satellite TV, Hunan Economic Television, Hunan Education TV, Jiangsu Satellite TV, among others. Her works have been published in numerous newspapers including the Changsha Daily, Legal Daily, and Business Daily. She has also been covered by multiple media outlets such as China News Service, Hongwang, and Art Collection Network.
Has been invited to transcribe Buddhist scriptures at many famous temples nationwide. She has repeatedly participated free of charge in charity auctions and is passionate about charitable activities.
