Personal Profile
Tang Kui, pen name: Langyue Feihua. Born on November 22, 1992, native place: Hunan Shaoyang, currently residing in Foshan, graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree from Jiaying College, Meizhou, Guangdong, majoring in Art Design (Teacher Training) at the Department of Fine Arts, holding the "Senior Art Teacher Qualification Certificate" and "Senior Art Trainer Certification." Currently serving as the Director of "Tang Guo Calligraphy and Painting Academy," professional fine arts teacher and calligraphy teacher, has long been dedicated to cultivating skills in painting and calligraphy.
Since childhood, I have been passionate about painting and possess a certain talent in this field. Starting in junior high school, I studied sketching under Teacher Xiao Zhongzhou; during my first and second years of high school, I sequentially studied foundational art courses at "Academy Art Studio" and "Devil Art Studio." In my third year of high school, I studied at "Chunqiu Art Studio" in Hangzhou (now known as "Hangzhou Lushan Art Studio" and "General Art Studio"), under the guidance of Liu Chenglong, Gao Zhi, and Xiong Xiaoming. In 2011, I was admitted to Jiaying College, Guangdong. During my spare time, I began engaging in calligraphy and painting training for teenagers. With a solid foundation in painting, I recognized the need to catch up in calligraphy. Influenced by Teacher Yan Zhenyan, I intensely practiced calligraphy, later studying under Teacher Wu Songhua, diligently honing my skills for the past eight years.
Live and learn. The mountain of books has a path, and diligence is the way. Years of diligent and arduous practice in calligraphy and painting have deepened my cultivation. I have achieved modest accomplishments in calligraphy, primarily focusing on Ouyang Xun's "Jiucheng Palace Liquor Spring Inscription," while also studying Zhao Mengfu's "Danba Stele," "Eight Poems on Autumn," and "Thousand Character Classic in Regular and Cursive Scripts." In daily practice, I enjoy writing small regular script, having studied Jiang Kui's "Bao Mu Tie," Zhao Mengfu's "Dao De Jing," Ni Zan's "Poetry and Prose of Jingji Pavilion," and Wen Zhengming's "Li Sao Jing." I have developed a solid foundation in regular script, small regular script, and running regular script, meticulously copying classical models while adhering to ancient methods and continuously innovating, applying what I learn in practice. In painting, I excel in meticulous brushwork; during university, I studied meticulous painting under Teacher Ren Jihong.
8 years of teaching experience 2011–2015: Art and Calligraphy Teacher at "Dongfang Jiaozhi Calligraphy and Painting Academy," Meizhou, Guangdong
2015–2016: Lead Art and Calligraphy Teacher at Dongguan City Forest
2016–2017: Founded "Tang Guo Calligraphy and Art Training" in Shaoyang, Hunan, persistently committed to teaching and nurturing. Believing that to teach students well, one must first cultivate oneself. In professional development, I continuously deepen my studies; in pedagogy, I uphold virtue and love as fundamental principles, leading by example. Through self-improvement, I influence and inspire students, ultimately guiding them onto the correct path of art.
2018: After marriage, I relocated with my family to Shishan Town, Nanhai District, Foshan. "Tang Guo Calligraphy and Art Training" was subsequently relocated and renamed "Tang Guo Calligraphy and Painting Academy."
