Zhu Hong, male, born in September 1954, holds a university degree and is a National First-Class Calligrapher. He began working in March 1972 and transferred to the Wuhan Municipal Justice Bureau in September 1999 after serving in the Airborne Forces, retiring at the end of 2014. He is currently a member of the Wuhan Artists Association and Vice President of the Wuhan Political and Legal Workers Calligraphy and Painting Research Association.

Since his student years, he has been passionate about calligraphy. After joining the military, he continuously practiced calligraphy out of personal interest and professional needs, contributing to military cultural development and serving soldiers and officers. After retirement, he has placed greater emphasis on theoretical study and active practice of calligraphy. His works have been selected multiple times for exhibitions organized by the Wuhan Municipal Organization Department and the Municipal Old Cadre Bureau, including citywide old cadres' calligraphy and painting exhibitions, municipal political and legal system calligraphy and painting exhibitions, as well as exhibitions hosted by the Wuhan Calligraphy and Painting Research Association and the Wuhan Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, such as the Wuhan Imitation and Seal Engraving Exhibition. In April 2019, he was featured on Art Encyclopedia and included in the book World Dictionary of Fine Artists.
