Contemporary Famous Calligrapher and Painter — Mr. Shao Lixin Original name: Shao Bolin Style name: Lixin Artistic pseudonym: Hongqi Born in December 1951 Ancestral home: Xiangyin County, Hunan Province, China Affiliation: Member of the Yueyang City Calligraphy Association, Hunan Province, China; Member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association. Current position: Deputy President of the General’s Calligraphy and Painting Academy, World Leaders Club. (Attached: 1~2 clear photographs) Awards and Honors: 2011: Award-winning work in the 13th Beijing “Fei Jian Cun Xin” Bookplate Exhibition. 2012: Co-organized calligraphy and painting exhibition in Jincheng, Changzhi, Shanxi. 2013: Co-organized the Poetic Couplets and Calligraphy-Painting Exhibition commemorating the 120th Anniversary of Chairman Mao’s Birth in Yueyang, Hunan. 2014: Participated in the First China-ASEAN Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In October, exhibited at the Forum on the Origins of Eastern Art and Culture. 2015: Exhibited at the Peking People’s Calligraphy and Painting Academy’s Spring Festival Creation Exhibition in Beihai. 2016: In June, invited to participate in the Shanghai World Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition.
