Wu Weizhi, pseudonym Wen Shan Zhong Ren, is from Wuxi, Hunan.
Graduated from the Calligraphy Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Studied under Professor Huo Chunyang, PhD supervisor of Bird-and-Flower Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts; Professor Yan Binghui, Master’s supervisor of Landscape Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts; Professor Yu Jianshi, Master’s supervisor of Calligraphy at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, among others.
In 2018, designated as a high-level creative talent for the "Belt and Road" initiative on the Power of Chinese Characters—International Exchange of Chinese Character Ink Art. His works are collected by the China Museum of Chinese Characters, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, Dongguan Lingnan Art Museum, Qingzhou Jiuzhou Art Museum, Beijing Shanshui Art Museum, Hangzhou Yipin Art Museum, and the People’s Government of Shanlian, Huzhou, among others. He has engaged in artistic creation across various fields including Chinese painting (landscape, bird-and-flower, figure), seal carving, calligraphy, ceramics, character carving, Chinese character sculpture, modern calligraphy, ink art, mixed media, oil painting, watercolor, performance, installation, and ceramics. He is particularly skilled in ink art, especially in Chinese character art and ceramic art creation.
