Li Yajun

      Li Yajun, born in 1955 in Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is currently an advisor to the Tonghua City Artists Association. He has been engaged in the creation of Gongbi and freehand brushwork flower-and-bird paintings since 1979. In 1980, his work "Bai Shan Qing" was published in the Jitie Daily; in 2001, his work "Qiu Qing" won an excellence award at the Tonghua City New Year Art Exhibition; in 2002, his work "Shuo Guo" won the gold medal at the Municipal CPPCC-organized art exhibition "Celebrating the 16th National Congress and National Day"; in 2006, his work "Da Di Fei Ge" won an excellence award at the Jilin Province Art Exhibition; in 2007, his work "Shuo Guo" won an excellence award at the national art exhibition hosted by China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper; in 2007, he published his personal collection of flower-and-bird paintings. In recent years, he has been engaged in art education; in September 2015, he held the "Yajun Art Class Students and Teachers Exhibition"; in October 2017, he held the second "Yajun Art Class Students and Teachers Exhibition".
