 Wang Wenfu, male, born in February 1968, is from Tongyu County, Jilin Province. He currently serves as a creation committee member of the Center for Cultural and Artistic Market Research at the China Academy of Art, a committee member of the National Federation of Famous Artists in Calligraphy and Painting, honorary vice chairman of the China Artists Collection Association, academician of the Jilin Provincial Political Consultative Conference Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, member of the Jilin Provincial Calligraphers Association, and chairman of the Tongyu County Calligraphers Association. Since 1989, his calligraphy has won excellence awards in exhibitions such as the "Suo I Cup," "Longmai Cup," a silver award at the Cross-Strait "Wangzi Cup," a third prize at the Second "Lianyi Cup," a third prize at the "National Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting on Human Science," a third prize at the "China-Japan Calligraphy and Art Exhibition," and was awarded the certificate of "Cross-Century Hanmo Art Talent" in 1995. He also received a third prize at the "1995 Three Kingdoms Culture Calligraphy and Seal Carving Art Exhibition," and his work was exhibited at the "1995 Cross-Century Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Exhibition" held at the China National Art Museum. In 1996, he won a third prize at the "National Invitation Exhibition of Famous Calligraphers and Painters and the Second International Sheng Cup Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Competition," a bronze award at the Third International "Jin'e Award," and participated in the "1999 Sheng Cup National Exhibition of Famous Calligraphers and Painters" and the "1999 International Senior Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition," where he was awarded the "Century Master Creation Award." He received the Third Cross-Strait "Wangzi Cup Honor Gold Award" and the First Prize at the Third "Xizhi Cup." His works and biography have been included in multiple major reference books such as "International Contemporary Calligraphy and Seal Carving Encyclopedia," and he has been honored with the title of "World Bronze Award Artist" and selected for the China International Literature and Art Works Expo. His work "Cai Gen Tan" was rated as a Level Three work, and it was selected for the 1996 Wuhan, China "Love Casts Jingchu Sentiment" Charity Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, where it was rated as an outstanding work and he was awarded the title of "Charity Artist." His work was also featured in the First National Calligraphy and Painting Poverty Alleviation Exhibition "Merit for a Thousand Generations." In 2017, his resume was included in the "Chinese Dream—Era Splendor Silk Road Collection Stamp Album," the "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration, Continue to Move Forward" commemorative stamp album, the "Chinese Masters Praise Harmony" special stamp album, and the "Belt and Road World Stamp Commemorative Collection."
