Personal Profile

Song Xiaoguang, also known as Moxiang Jushi, was born in 1966 in Shandong Qingdao and currently resides in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, and Pingdu City, Qingdao. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Northeast Normal University and is a senior art teacher. He is a member of the Yanbian Academy of Painting, the China Society for the Study of Elderly Calligraphy and Painting, and the International Qi Baishi Art Research Center. He is also a member of the Yanbian Artists Association, a council member and research fellow of the Yanbian Society for the Study of Elderly Calligraphy and Painting, vice secretary-general of the Helong City Society for the Study of Elderly Calligraphy and Painting, and a member of the Helong City Artists and Calligraphers Association. His paintings and calligraphy works have been selected and awarded in numerous national calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and many of his artworks have been collected by organizing committees and collectors.
