Qian Hongman: Born in June 1977 in Lishu County, Jilin. Graduated from the Fine Arts Education program at Northeast Normal University, Communist Party member. Specializes in paper-cutting and peasant paintings. Currently a member of the China Peasant Paintings Research Association, Standing Director of the Jilin Province Peasant Paintings Research Association, Jilin Province Peasant Painting Characteristic Talent, Art Consultant for the "Yehu Impression" Brand Cultural Creativity Center, Vice President and Standing Secretary-General of the Siping City Peasant Paintings Research Association, Member of the Siping City Artists Association, Secretary-General of the Lishu County Peasant Paintings Research Association—the national peasant painting hometown, President of the Siping Liaohé Reclamation Area Peasant Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritor. His peasant painting "Harvest Memories" won an Outstanding Award at the China-Australia Twin Cities Art Exhibition and was selected for the Australian Masterpieces Exhibition; "Buying New Year Goods" was exhibited at the "Hanmo Qingzhou" National Peasant Painting Exhibition; "Giving Gifts" won an Outstanding Award at the First China Yancheng National Integrity Peasant Painting Exhibition. "Downsizing" received an Outstanding Award at the Northeast Three Provinces and One Region Peasant Painting Exhibition. "Harvest Series" won an Outstanding Award at the Jilin Art Academy Artworks Exhibition themed "From Folklore to the Hall." "24 Solar Terms, Joyful Songs of Rural Life" won an Outstanding Award at the Jilin Province Fine Arts and Calligraphy Competition. Multiple peasant painting and paper-cutting works have been included in the national art promotion brand [porcelain panel paintings], and numerous works have been collected by professional institutions and individuals both domestically and internationally. The entire family has consistently upheld the inheritance and development of folk art. His personal achievements were featured in the Ministry of Culture’s National Cultural Information Sharing Project publication "Jilin Peasant Paintings," as well as in multiple specialized publications including the "Changbai Mountain Culture Library," "Culture Jilin," and "Painting Jilin." He has been repeatedly covered by Jilin Television, "Jilin Rural Newspaper," "Jilin Science and Technology Newspaper," and other media outlets.
