Qin Ge, original name Qi Lianfu, was born in January 1963 in Dongfeng County, Jilin Province, China. He is a renowned Chinese painter and calligrapher, serving as an Art Committee member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Art Center, a National First-Class Artist, and a member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association. He is also the Director of the highest-level Qin Ge Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Beijing, a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the National Museum, a council member of the China Calligraphy and Fine Arts Art Committee, and a council member of the China Artists Association. A contemporary master of traditional Chinese painting, he studied under Dr. Fan Zeng, Vice Chairman of the Tianjin Artists Association Huo Chunyang, and Chinese ink painter Yuan Xiaocen, thereby integrating the strengths of multiple masters. He is a member of the Ink and Wash Danqing Studio of China Education Television, a member of the Zhongyuan Charity Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a standing director of the Zhongyuan Charity Calligraphy and Painting Academy, President of the Hanxiang Calligraphy and Painting Association, Director of the Creation and Research Room at the Hanxiang Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Center, and a contracted calligrapher and painter with Chengdu Hanhe Culture.
