 Sun Xuhua, male, born in September 1965, Han nationality, from Baishan City, Jilin Province, CPC member, associate degree holder, deputy head of the Traffic Police Detachment, Wanguan Forest Public Security Bureau, Jilin Provincial Forest Public Security Bureau. He has loved calligraphy since childhood and has persistently practiced for decades. He initially studied hard-pen calligraphy under Pang Zhonghua, then moved on to brush-pen regular script under Ouyang Xun, while adhering to traditional methods and innovating accordingly. His hard-pen and brush-pen calligraphy works have repeatedly participated in national and provincial calligraphy competitions and exhibitions, winning gold, silver, and bronze awards. He is currently a member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association; a member of the Contemporary Teachers and Students Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association; a member of the National Public Security Literature and Art Federation; a member of the Baishan City Calligraphers Association, Jilin Province; a member of the "Ink and Wash Colors" Calligraphy and Painting Academy, CETV China Education Television; and has been included in the Ministry of Culture's Artistic Talent Database for making significant contributions to the art of calligraphy.
In June 1992, he was awarded the Excellent Work Award in Regular Script at the Fourth Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition of Hunjiang City, Jilin Province.  In May 2003, he won the Second Prize at the 7th "Hope Cup" National Teachers and Students Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Competition, and was honored with the title of "2003 New Century Campus Art Star" for artistic creation. In October 2003, his hard-pen calligraphy was rated at Level Five in the Seal and Clerical Script category at the "Culture Cup" National Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition. In October 2009, he won the Second Prize in the Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, organized by the Jilin Provincial Forest Public Security System. In March 2010, he won the First Prize at the First "Tang Style Cup" National Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition. In August 2012, in the Fourth "Red Journey: Jinggangshan Cup" National Outstanding Works Exhibition, after strict evaluation by the judging panel, he won the Gold Award. In September 2013, he won the Gold Award at the Third "Yanhuang Cup" International Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Art Competition. He was also admitted as a member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association. In April 2014, he was awarded the title of "Elite of Contemporary Chinese Writers and Calligraphers-Painters," and his hard-pen calligraphy was included in the Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Writers and Calligraphers-Painters. In June 2015, he was listed on the China Police Calligraphy and Painting Network. In July 2015, he became a member of the Baishan City Calligraphers Association, Jilin Province. In December 2015, his calligraphy work received the Excellent Award at the "Third China Integrity Culture Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition." In May 2016, he joined the National Public Security Literature and Art Federation as a member. In November 2016, he became a member of CETV China Education Television's "Ink and Wash Colors" Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In May 2017, he was officially admitted into the Artistic Talent Database of the Artistic Talent Center under the Ministry of Culture. In September 2017, he was honored as a "Cultural Pioneer of the New Era in China 2017." In October 2017, his calligraphy works were exhibited at the Beijing Ancient Forest Museum.
In November 2017, he was appointed as a Senior Calligrapher and Painter by the China Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Artists Network. He has loved calligraphy since childhood and has persistently practiced for decades. He initially studied hard-pen calligraphy under Pang Zhonghua, then moved on to brush-pen regular script under Ouyang Xun, while adhering to traditional methods and innovating accordingly. His hard-pen and brush-pen calligraphy works have repeatedly participated in national and provincial-level calligraphy competitions and exhibitions, winning gold, silver, and bronze awards along with trophies, medals, and certificates. His works were honored with the title of "Elite of Contemporary Chinese Writers and Calligraphers-Painters," and he is currently appointed as a Senior Calligrapher and Painter by the China Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Artists Network. For many years, he has persistently devoted himself to the art of calligraphy, achieving considerable accomplishments and making significant contributions to the field of calligraphy art.
