Hu Maosheng

Hu Maosheng, born in 1964 in Jilin. Member of the China Association for Ethnic Minority Art. After graduating from normal school, he worked as a set designer in movie theaters and cultural stations. In 2000, he came to Beijing. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, with many of his works favored and collected by art collectors. He has collaborated for many years with art institutions in Taiwan. In 2016, his work "Buddha's Light" (530cm × 200cm) was collected by Mr. Jiang Kun, a first-class crosstalk performer and Chairman of the China Quyi Artists Association. Tibet is the painter’s spiritual homeland and the source of his creativity; each piece is crafted with heart and endowed with vibrant life. Loving Tibet and painting Tibet has become an integral part of his life. Unceasing effort and steady progress are the painter’s guiding direction. May magnificent Tibet be blessed!
