Wang Jiajun, styled Yiming, was born in the ancient city of Aodong at the foot of the beautiful Changbai Mountains, Jilin, Dunhua. Member of the China Artists Association, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association, National First-Class Artist, Senior Calligrapher, and a renowned contemporary Chinese ink and brush artist. Special appointed artist of the Australia, Sydney China Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He studied early on at the Hebei North Art Academy and was among the first cohort of students at the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. His works have won numerous awards!
In pursuit of art, he traveled extensively across China, seeking mentors and cultivating friendships. Through years of accumulation, he has developed a unique artistic style that has received widespread acclaim. His works have been featured and published by over a hundred domestic news and cultural media outlets. His calligraphy and painting pieces have been included in the "Collection of Contemporary Chinese Masterpieces in Ink and Brush," and selected for the China Post Bureau's "Belt and Road: Contemporary Masters of Calligraphy and Painting" commemorative stamp collection, issued nationwide.
In 2017, he received the "China Pride Annual Figure Award" and the title of "Most Characteristic Contemporary Chinese Calligrapher and Painter." He was invited by CCTV's "Wisdom China" and "Century Exploration" organizing committee to attend and receive his award at the CCTV Star Avenue Annual Figures Summary and Commendation Conference.
