Personal Profile
Chen Yongzhong was born on January 8, 1965, in Linjiang City, Jilin Province. He has loved art since childhood.
In 1985, he took the entrance examination for Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Northeast Normal University, but failed to be admitted due to insufficient scores in academic subjects. Later, he studied for two years in a preparatory class at Lu Xun Academy, and subsequently apprenticed under the renowned Jilin painter Mr. Sun Zefu.
He is currently a member of the Jilin Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Baishan City branch, and a council member of the Linjiang City Artists Association.
