Li Tiehua: Female, Han ethnicity. Art name: Lianzi, Director of Lianzi Pavilion, native of Shulan City, Jilin Province. National Level One Art Master, currently a member of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute. Vice Dean of the Jilin City Branch of China Junbin Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Member of the Jilin Province Women Calligraphers Association, member of the Jilin City Artists Association, member of the Jilin City Women Painters Association, and council member of the Shulan City Artists Association. She was initially trained under the renowned female painter Wang Chenchao as her mentor, later furthered her studies at the Advanced Research Class of the China Calligraphy and Painting School and became a disciple of Master Liu Fei, a National Level One Calligraphy and Painting Master. In 2017, she accompanied her Beijing mentor—renowned national calligraphy and painting master Liu Fei (Liu Dengchao)—on a sketching trip to the Dabie Mountains. She specializes in small freehand-style bird-and-flower painting and fine art creation. With years of teaching experience, she previously served as the Head of the Children’s Department at Jilin Province Jingyi Art School and later became a fine arts teacher at Jilin City Fangyuan Art School.
In August 2017, her work "Fragrant Fruits" won the First Prize in the 5th "Great Man's Ode—Chinese Dream" Individual Competition and she became a contracted calligraphy and painting artist. At the end of 2017, she won the Silver Award in the National Most Powerful Baidu Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Competition. Her work "Good Fortune and Wealth" received an Excellent Award at the 2nd International Calligraphy and Painting Festival, and her work "Flowers in Full Bloom" won the Second Prize at the 1st China Suzhou International Calligraphy and Painting Festival; her works have been collected by the Paris International Art Research and Creation Center (Danzheng Hanlong). In 2015, she won the Gold Award as an Instructor in the 8th and 9th ICAA International Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competitions. In 2016, she achieved outstanding results in the 25th International Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competition of "Children's Art Garden" and the 48th World Children's Painting Exhibition, winning the "Gold Award" for Organization and Instruction, and became a member of the "China International Holographic Education Society"! In March and August 2018, her works were selected and won the Third Prize at the 2nd Jilin City Urban Women Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In December 2018, she led her students to participate in the Xuancai China International Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competition and was honored as a Gold Medal Instructor; her students collectively won awards. In October 2019, to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of China, her work "Lotus Pond Charm" was exhibited at the Jilin Province Women Artists Association Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
In December 2019, her work "Harmonious Coexistence" was exhibited at the Jilin City Enchanting Jiangcheng Art Exhibition. That same year, her work "Flowers in Full Bloom" won the Gold Award at the 2019 "Splendid China" National Calligraphy, Painting, and Photography Art Competition and was awarded the title of "2019 China Calligraphy and Painting Art Influence Figure of the Year" by the organizing body. Her numerous works, as well as those of her students, have repeatedly won major awards both internationally and domestically and are collected by friends from home and abroad.
