Yi Guo Rong, male, from Tianjin city, native of Shandong Laizhou, is a painter and calligrapher.

Graduated from the Department of Art Education at Tianjin Normal University, and further studied at Tianjin Huaxia Art College. His landscape painting was under the guidance of Zhang Hongqian, Hou Chunlin, Xie Yuxi, Jia Wanxin, Dong Jingbo, and Gu Boyan. His bird and flower painting was under the guidance of Jia Baomin, Ruan Kemin, Guo Shuren, and Shi Ruyuan.

  Personal Honors  

In 2008, his work "Thousand Mountains and Dense Mist" won the bronze award in the 4th "Meeting at Xiangjiang" Chinese Painting (Landscape Painting) Exchange Exhibition.
In 2004, "The Orchid at Quiet Time Has a Fragrant Sound" was selected in the Orchid Section of the 600th Anniversary of Tianjin's Founding, and "Viewing Waterfall" was published in the "China Calligraphy and Painting Daily".
In 2010, he was selected in the "One Thousand Chinese Painters and Calligraphers" Grading Collection.
In 2019, he won the excellent award in the "Golden Pig Entering the Door" National Chinese Painting Annual Competition of the Twelve Zodiac Signs.
His work "Heavenly Sounds" won the first prize in the National First Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Works Exhibition Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. He painted the ancient eight scenic spots of Wen'an County, Hebei Province.

His works are collected by people from all over the world.
