Liu Junwei, whose real name is Liu Wei, is a male artist born in Jinghai, Tianjin in 1982. He graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a researcher at the Chinese Painting International Research Center, and the Secretary-General of the Tianjin Branch of the Chinese Folk Calligraphy and Painting Research Society. His works have been published, awarded, and collected by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts at home and abroad. Since childhood, he has inherited family traditions and loved painting. With the guidance of many teachers and friends, he graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He likes landscapes and insects, and his artistic influences go back to Dong Qichang and Ju Ran, and he has studied the works of Beijing and Tianjin artists. He has studied classic works of many masters and carefully read the Zhongziyuan Album. He is not limited by famous teachers, but visits Guiyuan to learn techniques; he is not bound by Chinese or foreign art, but explores the painting theories of Xuezhou. His academic efforts have accumulated bit by bit, and he has cultivated his painting path.
