Personal Profile

Liu Zhenkuan, a native of Tianjin City, is a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the China Huaxia Wanlihang Calligraphers and Painters Association, a Senior Artistic Master, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tianjin Baodi District Calligraphers and Painters Association. He started learning calligraphy and painting in his childhood. In 1983, he attended the Writers' Advanced Study Class in Jilin Province. After graduation, he sought guidance from Liu Jinsheng, a disciple of Qi Gong, and received instruction from famous painters Chen Tielu, Bajue Daoist, Ba Ren, and other masters, which was of great benefit to him.
