Qiao Zongsheng, a native of Jingde County, Xuancheng, Anhui Province. Currently serving as院长 of Ningbo Fulong Temple Zen Painting and Calligraphy Institute, senior researcher at China General-Minister Calligraphy and Painting Academy, secretary-general of Zijiao Temple Zen Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and vice president of Hanmo Painting and Calligraphy Academy. His courtesy name is Zhuyun Zhai Zhu, having practiced painting since childhood. Nourished by the landscapes of southern Anhui and deeply influenced by Huizhou's ancient cultural charm, he diligently pursues art in both painting and calligraphy. Grounded in tradition, attuned to nature, and emphasizing personal cultivation, his works express emotions and insights with a unique style. Beginning with ancient masters, he has extensively studied numerous schools, integrating grandeur and magnificence with elegance and clarity. His artworks are vivid in spirit, pure in brushwork, and independent in style. He excels in landscape, flowers and birds, Guanyin, and animal paintings. Humble and unassuming, he avoids self-promotion. His works are collected by many individuals across the world.
