Personal Profile

Qiu Wenxing, Zhejiang Xinchang native, born in 1963, a veteran of military conflict. He has loved calligraphy since childhood. At the age of 20, he won second and third prizes in city and county-level calligraphy competitions multiple times. Enlisted in 1982, from May 1984 to May 1985 participated in the war against Vietnam. His company was awarded a collective second-class merit. After discharge, he served as a village film projector operator, diligently practicing calligraphy, and has won awards in national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy competitions many times. For over 30 years, he has consistently studied calligraphy, learning from the Ouyang, Zhao, and Yan schools, specializing in running-cursive script. His works are widely loved and collected by the public.
