Chen Yongjun

Chen Yongjun, born in 1973, is from Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a committee member of the Zhejiang Provincial Youth Calligraphers Association's Seal Carving Committee, an art advisor at Xinghuacun Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a specially appointed artist at Yiwu Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute and Jinhua Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Director of the Yiwu Calligraphers Association's Seal Carving Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Yiwu Calligraphers Association.

His works have won awards and been exhibited in numerous exhibitions:

Highest Award at the "Chao Sheng Dunhuang" National Calligraphy Exhibition (China Calligraphers Association),

Excellent Award at the 3rd Ruicheng Yongle Palace International Painting and Calligraphy Art Festival (China Calligraphers Association),

Exhibited in the 10th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the 2nd National Album-Format Calligraphy Exhibition, the 1st National Hand Scroll Calligraphy Exhibition, the 3rd National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the 3rd National Running and Cursive Script Calligraphy Exhibition, the 2nd National Cursive Script Exhibition, the 3rd National Cursive Script Exhibition, the 4th National Cursive Script Exhibition, the 6th National Couplet Calligraphy Exhibition, the 4th National Fan-Format Calligraphy Exhibition, the 1st National Small Format Calligraphy Exhibition, and over thirty other exhibitions hosted by the China Calligraphers Association; nominated for the Third "Top 100" Award for Middle-Aged and Young Calligraphers by Shufa Magazine, ranked among the "Top 100" in the magazine's Fourth "Top 100" selection; won first prizes in national competitions including the 4th "Haisi Cup", the 1st "Xinghua Cup", the National Wenfang Painting and Calligraphy Art Competition, the "Ink and Tea Way" National Calligraphy Competition, and the "Lianjiang Dishi Cup" National Calligraphy Competition; received the 2012 Annual Award nomination from the Zhejiang Provincial Calligraphers Association, and won the association's 2014 Annual Award.

His painting and calligraphy works are collected by various museums and memorials such as the Chinese Characters Museum and Jinhua City Museum. His works have been engraved on stone tablets at the Shiyao Ping scenic area in Zichang, Shaanxi Province. Special reports on his work have appeared in media outlets including Calligraphy Newspaper, China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, Youth Calligraphy Newspaper, Oriental Ink Wash, Daily Business News, Oriental Today, Dabieshan Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, Yiwu Business Daily, and Zhezhong New News.
