Zheng Lingjiang

Zheng Lingjiang, from Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, currently resides in Hangzhou. In 1992 and 1995, he studied at the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art. He has been engaged in artistic work for a long time, studying and learning about the sketches, color composition, and material techniques of works since the European Renaissance period. His recent oil paintings are mainly expressed through traditional oil painting techniques, with rigorous modeling, elegant colors, inheriting the spirit of European Classicism, combining with Chinese aesthetic interest, and featuring a beautiful and fresh style. He is now a member of the American Oil Painting Acrylic Painting Association. In 2017, his work *Chinese Porcelain* participated in the American Oil Painting Acrylic Painting Association Spring International Online Grand Prix and won the Best Figure Award. *Melancholy Serenade* won third place in the American Art Grand Prix in the Oil Figure category. *Clear Spring Echoes* won fourth place in the American Art Grand Prix in the Oil Figure category. *Chinese Porcelain* won the Lelia Gardin Sawyer Award in the Oil Acrylic Painting Category of the American Professional Artists League Art Grand Prix. In 2017, he received a Special Award in the First "Art Masters of the Art Communication Network." *Melancholy Serenade* won an Excellent Award in the American Oil Painting Acrylic Painting Association Fall International Online Grand Prix in 2018.
