Ni Qingcong, pen name Lingyun, was born in 1966 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. A member of the Communist Party of China, he graduated from the Senior Cadre Training Program at the Central Party School of the CPC Central Committee. He serves as Vice Chair of the Presidium of the Zhejiang Business Economic Development Council of Zhejiang Province and Vice President of the Sichuan Provincial Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. He is also Chairman of Sichuan Hangtong International Logistics Co., Ltd. From a young age, he has been passionate about calligraphy, painting, and especially various musical instruments. After decades of persistent dedication, he has developed a unique style in seal carving. Over the years, he has worked abroad and pursued entrepreneurial ventures in various regions. Under the guidance and support of numerous local calligraphers and painters—especially Master Yeshi, known as the world's foremost finger painter and院长 of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Academy for Promoting Filial Piety—he has created hundreds of seals. Currently, he is a council member of the Artists Associations in both Sichuan and Henan Provinces. His works have been published multiple times in newspapers and magazines. He won the first prize in an essay competition marking the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up, as well as excellence awards in seal-carving essay competitions held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and Henan Province. In November 2018, he was honored by Ten Thousand Art as a "Timeless Artist," "Most Investment-Worthy Artist of 2018," and "Most Investment-Worthy Artist of 2019." He also received a special award as first place winner in the National Seventh Luoyang Prize, and holds the title of National First-Class Artist, enjoying widespread admiration among art lovers.
