No beautiful work can be entirely free of minor flaws, yet true beauty always has the power to overshadow these small imperfections. The less subjective the artist’s personal input in an artwork, the purer and nobler that artwork becomes. A high degree of objectivity is precisely the primary hallmark of a truly artistic work. Conversely, the more subjective the creator’s input, the less valuable and more secularized the work becomes. Huang Deming’s works embody precisely this purity and nobility.
